Carlos Esteban Serrano Montufar
Carlos is a dedicated, proactive learner. In his 21 years of age, he has demonstrated leadership, unparalleled organization, formidable support, and has been proven many times as a creative problem solver. Capable of adapting to new situations quickly, he seeks effectiveness and efficiency in all tasks. Proficient in English, a native Spanish speaker, and currently pursuing French language courses, his international background and love for languages makes him a very open and knowledgeable person in the global marketplace.
Friends and family often refer to him for his personal insight and opinion in various problems, as he is a very dependable and trustworthy person; having provided aid to friends, family and strangers, he is capable of incredible effort, amazing drive and superb effectiveness. Participating in an international English learning camp, he found himself lost while skiing in Mount Hood, Oregon, with four of his colleagues. Though only 17 years old at the time, he showed responsibility and leadership by leading his comrades safely out of the mountain.
In team efforts, he is regularly tasked with either financial manager status or leader status, since his communication skills allow him to express himself clearly to all those involved. He has also proven himself to be the resourceful person, proving his relationship skills are an extremely valuable asset. He is regularly assigned, by professors and coworkers, some of the toughest or most technical projects, in which he gives always well organized, formatted, accurate reports and results.
In the workplace, he has shown proactivity and vision; both qualities highly sought out for in today’s marketplace. By using technical skills in computing as well as outside knowledge, he has broader perspective, making it easy for him to look at both sides of a problem, asses the importance and come to a conclusion including recommendations as to how to proceed about the problem.
Carlos is a highly educated individual, with much to offer, but also a massive drive to learn and better himself and those around him. It is this drive that enables him to always think what is best for the company, and then what is best for him. Honesty and ethics play a huge part of his personality; this allows him to show his true opinions and beliefs, thus further helping the growth and empowerment of any organization he works for.
